Book-Lovin' Questions!

Book-Lovin' Questions!
It has been one month since I started this wonderful adventure in the book blogging universe. I can't believe that it has been only one month. I have 20 followers, about 200 page views a week, 25 posts, 71 comments and 29 entries into my giveaway! I have yet to have a bad experience with blogging and I hope to keep it that way.

So here are a few questions I would love to answer. Just so you can get to know me a little better!

Where were you born and where do you call home? I was born on the Eastern side of Washington state. I currently live in Idaho, in the most beautiful place where our lakes are sapphire blue and tree's line the horizon.

How long have you been blogging? One month...

If you could ask the Author 3 questions what would they be? What is your next book about, how did you come up with it and what kind of coffee do you enjoy?

Who is your most favorite character and why? Draco Malfoy. He is my all time favorite bad boy...

Have you written a book yourself or are you planning to in the future? I have a book in progress that I have been working on for quite a while. Someday I will finish it... maybe after nursing school.

What genre is your favorite and why? Dystopian with a little romance sprinkled in.

If you were shipwrecked on a desert island what 3 books would you want with you? Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows by J.K Rowling, Elite by Rachel Van Dyken and the largest medical dictionary (with pictures) I could find!

Is there an Author that you would really like to meet? Emily Brontë

Do you prefer ebooks, paperbacks or hardcover? Paperback. I like to bend my books when I read them, then E-books next. I hate hardback, just to firm I guess.

Where do you prefer to buy your books? Second hand stores.

Have you ever read a book more than once? Harry Potters over 100 times and I'm not joking and Twilights a few times over.

Is there a particular movie or TV series that you preferred over the book version?

What book are you about to start reading? I have so many to choose from... urg.

What book do you know that you will never read? The Silmarillion

Are there any new Authors that have grasped your interest recently and why? Rachel Van Dyke. Awesome NA author.

What are your thoughts on book trailers? Some are great... others not so much.

Sleep in or get up early? Sleep In.

Pet peeves? Love Triangles must die! I hate them with a passion. They make me anxious and mad. They are usually over done, cliche and annoying.

What did Santa bring you? Books of course!

How often do you blog? Every day.

Cats or dogs? Cats

White wine or red? White and very sweet. Plum wine!

Coffee or tea? Dear God COFFEE! I own a coffeeshop... My name is Joann and I'm an addict.

Favorite food? Papaya

Vanilla or chocolate ice cream? Vanilla

What is a movie or TV show that you watched recently and really enjoyed? Orange is the New Black. Awesome!

What scares you? The dark and Cancer.

If you ask me my favorite book, I would have to pick Harry Potter series of course. In close second, I would have to say Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi. Elite by Rachel Van Dyken is my favorite NA.

When it come to romance in books I prefer a slow burn. I hate when two characters fall deeply and madly in love with each other in the first ten pages. I want them to suffer for their love. No love at first sight, no perfect mates and no heart wrenching love without a little struggle first.

Good boys or the bad ones? NixonDamon, Draco, Perry, Adrian Ivashkov, Jace Lightwood, Daemon Black, Patch etc... All bad boys, all my favorite, swoon-worthy characters. (And my fictional book boyfriends... Sorry honey)

Do you cry during movies? I never cry during books or movies for that matter (almost never). The one and only time I have ever cried during a book, or movie was the Harry Potter series. Other than that one inexcusable time, never!

Indie Books or Highly advertised? I say away from heavily advertised books. I have a very hard time reading books that have a bunch of money put into them, lost of hype or tons of shinning reviews. I have had to many bad experiences with these kinds of books, and I would prefer to find my won gems. Though I must say Divergent series, Harry Potters and a few others were so worth it!
